I just dont trust them, feels like security theatre when they flag me when they cannot identify where i am coming from or who i am. BTW I never got access to my locked protonmail account back and it caused me alot of trouble as i used it for alot of web service logins.
Proton suck, its a honeypot op i don't trust them. They locked me out of protonmail years ago when testing out tor over vpn.
Here's the full message proton sent me in regards to banning my account if anyone is interested. Not a valid reason to ban my entire account.
