Ouch! I started off interested in alts due to price bias against bitcoin... Mainly Pirate Chain (ARRR), which even many #Monero bros have said had better privacy technology. But, after it spiked up to ~$15 briefly, then dropped to maybe $0.25 or so and has never regained even $0.50-.75 I believe!
So, stopped plating with the trash, mined some #ETH when that was still possibke and immediately converted it to BTC when the payout was big enough, and then life go busy and I dawdled until about 4 years ago.
Started DCAing into bitcoin, and have never stopped. Changing companies (common as a trucker), bigger checks, smaller checks, my savings come first (well, along with giving at church, of course.) The rest of the weekly or monthly budget gets fit around those two things. 😉😁
