Nah spirituality opposes no thing it simply recognises that linear time is an illusion.

If you want to apply a dualism to spirituality I'd say that it focuses on the significance of the nonphysical vs the material.

Historically we paid as much importance to the non physical as the material. We'd consult the stars on when to plant our crops & make a sacrifice to ensure plenty of rain for them.

Over at least a century we replaced superstition with science. We placed more importance on the material & distegarded that which we couldn't see or measure.
