What a day to be alive!
After more than 7 days of downloading and synching the whole Blockchain again. I woke up and noticed that I’m back online.
And by I, I mean my #bitcoin node.
More than 900 GB of data, all downloaded in about 7 days… The fact that it took more than 7 days is astonishing, that’s a lot! I mean, my internet connection isn’t the best out there, that’s on me. But still, just wow. I remember the first computer that we owned had a 20 GB hard drive, to me, it puts things in perspective 😅.
Fun fact: It finished on the 21st of January, which to me is kinda cool 😆, no need for an explanation I think.
