Kajoozie Maflingo (nprofile…dwd0) and I once watched #KevintheGirlCat stalk and pounce on a squirrel that was on a tree.
It was a bright spring day. There were birds chirping, there were multiple squirrels in the yard, the other cats and dog were just milling about in the yard. We notice her noticing the squirrel and watched as she snatched it right off the side of the tree and shook it. We heard the snap of its little neck breaking from what was easily 100 ft. The birds went silent. The other squirrels shot off in multiple directions. The other cats and the dog inched closer to lap at the blood that was spurting from the furry little critters jugular onto the grass. Kevin growled at them encroaching on her and they all froze. She ran off and jumped the back fence carrying the twitching squirrel carcass in peace. Nature is friggin' metal.
