Experiment a bit. Maybe being new, record it two ways, like the first say 3-4 minutes... Then ask your wife and kids, or a trusted friend etc. You listen and they do... Try breathing as needed vs measuring each sentence, maybe relax in a chair with good posture or a bar stool vs at a desk?
Maybe there is a pause button when you need a breath instead of actually stopping the recording, or a mute button? You'll get your style figured out. Some may like it and others not, just focus on the message YOU want to put out. If that is high signal, the heck with folks who dislike your delivery. Hopefully, they will at least make constructive comments about areas to improve in their eyes... 😉
