I don’t believe thinking people will adopt BIP-110 or even a well thought out variant thereof…

But I do question the wisdom of the “rip off the bandaid” approach core has taken. I don’t even think doing it now is better than later…just encouraging other implementations to be more permissive in non-standard transaction relay would suffice.
