When we arrived at the gym this morning, there were already EMTs present.
One of the older members had a nasty fall, hurt his elbow and cut his head.
As they loaded him onto the stretcher and wheeled him out, his fellow exercise class participants clapped and cheered to make him feel better.
There but for the grace of friction, go I.
That's when I realized that exercise treadmills are basically catapults for old people.
Stay safe out there.
