Claude Cowork did some work for me last week that would have taken my VA an hour or so.
Now I’m creating a data scraping tool in Claude code - that scraps public data - and while I’m running lots of issues and need the rest of the week to finish it, it’s going to save me 5 figures between US and oversees VAs. And I’m not that technical.
I was obsessed with Claude from last Saturday through this Friday, but got spooked when I was getting spam on Telegram from people trying to contact the bot. I’m heading to the computer store now to get a raspberry Pi to run it on. Probably not foolproof proof but better than what I had before on a Mac.
The tricky part is I don’t want to set it up on Signal because I found out that if you set it up that way, it can see all your other chats - obviously that’s a non-starter. So I’m going to try and connect it with matrix/element but I’ve run into a ton of problems with that’s.
Less exciting but scary: I was relying on it and talking to a day and night and I felt much less productive without the last 72 hours with it. Pretty crazy.
