Well we better stop calling a penny a penny and start calling it a doll. People will never figure out that there are 100 pennies in a dollar.
Anytime you learn a new system there is terminology that goes with it. Some make sense and some don't. It's part of learning and growing.
I have never onboarded someone that was confused with the fact that a fraction of a Bitcoin was referred to as a Sat.
In all actuality i think it helps drive home the fact you don't need to buy a "whole Bitcoin".
