We have been working hard to not only make Zap Cooking a unique Nostr client and social experience for food lovers, but to shape it into one of the best Nostr clients overall.
The wallet integration alone is incredibly robust. Between Lightning and on-chain support, it is hard to find another client offering this level of depth while still being approachable.

We have another major release landing in February that changes everything.
Our goal is not just to build a great Nostr client, but to build a product that non technical people can actually use. Something that quietly lowers the barrier and helps drive real Nostr adoption.

It has been a big month. And a big week too. We shipped heavy this week.

The wallet is finally where it needed to be.
You now have full functionality to send and receive Bitcoin over Lightning or on-chain.
You can fund your Spark wallet on-chain and start zapping immediately. No hoops. No waiting. One tap zaps make appreciation instant.
We also added Branta guardrails to help verify Bitcoin addresses before funds move.

Privacy and control got better.
Your profile now keeps a backup history, so if another client overwrites your bio, you can restore it right from zap.cooking.

Post npub tagging and comments are fixed.
Search is improved so you can find posts by npub tags, note IDs, and nevents and actually get to what you are looking for.
The feed feels calmer and more readable.
Hellthreads with excessive mentions are automatically filtered out so conversations stay usable instead of overwhelming. And yes, you can adjust this or turn it off entirely if you are a hellthread enthusiast.
Long notes now collapse automatically, keeping the timeline clean while letting you expand when you want more.
Videos play as you scroll and stop when you move on.
More content loads smoothly, deeper into the timeline, without breaking rhythm.
