Well, I've tried & I've learned that the weight of the vicous cement is heavier than the nothing that I had inside the inner mold. This should have been foreseeable, but of course, I didn't think about that. I'll approach this again after I make some wooden boxes for the sets that I've made so far, which is getting out of hand. Now I want to dye a set of dominos a darker shade & put them in the cement grey box. This will be cool, but it might take me longer than I had anticipated. 😅

You prolly already know this, but you need a barrier of some kind if you plan on reusing the boxes/mold/forms because concrete is corrosive over time.
