In March of 2020 there was a unified wall of hysteria over Covid. No rational arguement could be heard. There was this overwhelming realization that I was so far out of step with the masses and that it wasn't going to be a scenario where I could just have my opinion and go about my day. There was mass mobish consensus that made no sense to me and I was going to eventually have it ask me to bend the knee. This feels the same.
I can't for the life of me understand how people can be so confused about boring immigration law. If you are illegal you get deported. If you try and obstruct federal agents carrying out that deportion you will likely be arrested. If you resist arrest while armed you will be subdued and potentially killed. This is basic stuff.
I am very keen to talking points. The ICE is Gestapo saying is so blown out of reality that nothing good comes from that narrative. It encourages lefty larp che types to pull on their carhartt and go act tuff.
But the consensus appears to be that illegals are super special, that this one type of fed is very bad and defending the super special ones against the very bad feds gives you the right to do anything you want.
I realize that no one wants to accept simple reality and I am going to have to live through another national psychosis like BLM.
