What I don't get about resistance to #BIP110: If we all agree that spam is bad, why not fix the bugs that enable it? Especially when the cost of doing so is tiny, as in BIP110's proposal.
Isn't it better, and within #Bitcoin's ethos, to take the conservative approach, and only support use cases with proven utility?
