I make art now in part because I just am not comfortable with the tech bros' desire to somehow seize the means of creative production. It makes me a wee bit suspicious, you know. Why try to take art out of the hands of individual artists?
Sure, sure "labor costs", but it's fishier than that.
AI art is a *power grab*, & I'm not interested in indulging them in this.
So I make my own art now, because art is supposed to be made by humans.
