I was talking about any coins as they exist now. Currently there are no coins that work better as private digital cash.
I agree that a lot of people will move off monero if a real alternative were to come out because monero is far from perfect.
But the reason people don't use zcash or LN (instead of monero) is because they are not actually better, despite what monero haters say all the time.
