According to the NYT, 50,000 starlink terminals have recently been smuggled into Iran, despite massive sanctions & import controls.
This effort was at least partially led by a man called ahmad ahmadian, whose NGO netfreedom pinoneers is a NED (CIA) awardee.
Starlink is a critical part of US military infrastructure used to map, monitor, and target assets that can additionally be used to identify and censor down to individual users.
It was ergo not led by, or done in favor of, „the people“ but by foreign intelligence to give these terminals to selected people and organizations that will control the narrative in the interest of US policy to plunder yet another country in the middle east.
So no alex, I do not support the CIA bringing starlink into Iran under the guise of humanitarian aid. Because censorship and oppression is not freedom just because it is done under the flag that you prefer.
It‘s called having moral consistency btw. You should try it sometime.
