how do we apply countermeasures? first is wallets and coin control. second is pushing for a new legacy p2pkh using schnorr. deprecate segwit and taproot and fork everything to drop in replacements that use quantum safe p2pkh, enforce one tx per secret key. migrate/upgrade lightning to use the new hash protected schnorr and if one company could get 15% node adoption, we can do the same as a mass and drive miners to upgrade.
segwit -> taproot -> covenants is the cooption path to turn bitcoin into a shitcoin ponzi enabler. right now there is no competing initiative.
