Discussion of online dating is precluded by the notion of dating apps being illusory for me. Been there, done that - it’s just like porn or any other simulacra that people take up bc it’s easy and convenient.

I’ve become a firm believer that illusory experience and pursuits should be avoided. If you’re reeling from a breakup, remember what it is that feeds your soul and do it again, find ways to be social while doing what you love. Even if it takes longer to find someone, at least you’ll find them as a “whole” person, and more than likely you’ll have a foundation of shared interests and values to build a relationship on.

Reject modernity, embrace tradition.
