I'm doing a 9x12 page right now. It's a big space to fill, & I'm having a hard time letting myself discover what I'm making in the process. It feels like I should already know what it "should" look like.
But I've been learning to sit back in my chair & just wait & see what I want to do next.
Since I mostly do watercolor, there is a lot of waiting for things to dry anyway (though I do the same even with colored pencils & markers). It keeps me from panicking about "mistakes" & giving up.
