Yes, the punk club was called 'Giros'. I used to go there on a Saturday. It would start at 12 noon approx. There was a guy with a goatie on the door (no names mentoned) who took a few quid of you. You could bring you own booze in. Punk bands blasted until late afternoon and then DIY techno and experimental electronic acts played. Amazing times. No security. Do whatever you want. Dancing around with a 3 liter bottle if cider. very much a temporary autonomous zone.
