Oh, my bad. Maybe a combination of your name, referring to me indirectly as a clown, and general hardcore attitude toward decentralization made me rush to that conclusion. I find often find, or at least imagine, the people who are more adamant about that sort of thing are a bit ... sick of trying to convert others to the cause (for lack of a better description), or something like that. I probably read too much into things :)

Ah, I like that definition of objective. The only other social platform I ever used in earnest was Twitter. I was kind of a different person there. Far less interactive, quick to pile on and shit on people, for some reason. Maybe it was how crowded it was, or maybe I was a bit too swept up in the tribalism of bitcoin... probably both. I've been way more interactive and polite here though. Combination of finding lots of quality people (early adopters tend to have lots of interests and hobbies), and it's very much not crowded, so you get what feels more like a normal chat experience. And I do find the type of objectivity you defined more common across the board, though I wouldn't say I was in any way impeded from making contact with anyone in particular when I was on Twitter; more a byproduct of types of people and quieter place free from algos, I think.
