I was looking at gold, thinking maybe I should buy some, fomo.
The thing about bitcoin is, all the reason I bought and hodl, those reasons are even stronger.
Price going down is abit shitty because we like to value our worth in our wealth. (Not the best way to value yourself).
But it is the best most securest store of value, asset, money... etc. Etc. if not bitcoin then what?
If gold goes up in price by 200X and uk becomes a dystopian paradise, with starmer pumping on steroids. And I am scrambling to get out, book a flight, get to the airport, go through security and my gold chain that be worth 500k, get confiscated, because its been made illegal face it. If I wanted to sell my gold, it would not be straight forward. And what would I sell for? Dirty fiat!
Bitcoin is money. It diesnt need to be sold. It can be used to exchange for goods and services, in sats. As a bitcoiner I would glide through the airport arrive anywhere in the world, carrying my wealth with me.
Bitcoin gives me a sense of calm, knowing that if the worse happens, governments confiscate everything, I have peace of mind that I will be ok. Evetything is going to be ok.
