Story concept: Consider myrmecophilous beetle but it fools myrmecologists into thinking it's an ant too. Even thought it's totally NOT an ant, when you look at it soon after you forget what you saw and think "that was an ant, a nice ordinary ant" ... it takes decades to discover.
