I have now put together most of a game engine for pubkey quest. I contributed to ecash, lightning and wrote a BIP on top of countless other ventures... Blossom, gnostream, etc.
I did this with a full time wood engineering job that has nothing to do with code. I've never been a professional developer. I did it with a wife and two small children. I did it all in my few hours of free time before bed every night.
