Yep but how does these points contradict what I said. Soy monoculture is there because it's cheap and extremely proteic for cows and livestock. Humans (not only vegans) eat a fraction of that huge production.
Monoculture is dangerous for the environment because of poor genetic variety, excessive exploitation of the soil, massive use in chemical fertilizer to compensate for the imbalance that also leads to aquifer pollution and massive use of insecticides.
