How do you know there is absolutely no point to the weird symbols?
This thing is hooked up electronically and reactes to electromagnetic stimuli. Parts of it glow when other parts are energized.
How do you know the words and carvings are decorative?
And even if they were only for the mystery factor, does that actually make it a hoax? Especially in the face of unexplainable scientific testing (assuming they arent lying of course). Are bombs in which people write words onto with sharpie suddenly all hoaxes because the writing serves no "purpose"?
