Good morning from the front of morning fire 100. It is 10 below out there at 8:30 AM.
Three things I am thankful for.
A warm bed. I woke up at 4:15 'AM. I layed there for 2 hours because it was warm. And because I could. I'm usually out of bed by 4:15 on a workday.
I am thankful that my mom and Grandma are still alive. They live down the road from us. 4 miles to the east. I was there at 11 PM last night loading her outdoor wood boiler. I do it every evening. Sometimes I will step into the garage and say thank you to my Dad. The garage is pretty much the same since he passed 4 years ago. Maybe he's out there somewhere listening.
Finally for the pets that are casually lying here. A cat in his cushion bed. A dachshund on my lap. They put me at ease.
What's one thing you're thankful for today? I'll zap it 10 SATs. ⚡
