Drug users don't respect their own lives. Police also don't respect drug user's lives. Sure, I accept the premise that regulating drug use is really none of the government's business, but nevertheless, fighting to legalize drug use seems like a profound waste of my time. I honestly wish we lived in a world where preventing the state from hurting people who hurt themselves was the most important political topic of our age. It's all truly disgusting to me, and I want as little to do with it as possible.
