Awesome. Thank you, for sharing. I can absolutely resonate with the love hate relationship aspect. I am not familiar with Elons general vision. What's a quickie way to get caught up?
I have perplexity as a browser I think and sometimes I am frustrated in what it delivers vsm what I am used to getting in search results but I am slowly getting used to it. I think there's some clumsiness in the search bar that frustrates me.
I have not tried Mistral. Now I am a bit curious.
I do use chatgpt, Claude, and did dip a little into deepmind (I like seeing it's thinking process), and I recently started using Gemini which I also like. But I can't keep all... I added those extra ones so I can determine who's going and who's staying at least the premium versions.
Have you tried MapleAI?
I agree on some of my experiences with privacy focused higher price but less capable models. Hopefully that changes soon.
