I say the following reluctantly, since I leave the online discussion of politics to others better versed and placed to do so. My voice is not that strong, and does not count for much, but I do wish the IMU would publicly address what is going to happen to the ICM this year. The leadership would, I hope, either make a hard call sooner rather than later to shift venues, or explain why not. Or, at absolute minimum, let everyone know if there are ongoing discussions the outcomes of which will be announced in due course. I cannot imagine such discussions aren't happening.
