By "exist" I meant "objectively".
"Decency" also doesn't have an objective, uncontroversial meaning that maps to some hard thing in the real world. Think about the fact that different cultures mean different things by "decency".
Okay, fine, it "exists within a culture" but the same behavior may be "the opposite of decent" in a different culture. Similarly, "Right" exists within a given moral framework, but may not exist (or exist as its opposite) in a different moral framework.

It's a moral/ethical term, and is therefore subjective. Saying "they don't exist" was my shorthand way of saying "they're relative". And in the case of something that is **supposed** to be an absolute, relativity is kind of a serious undermining...
