I think the deal was, Rolls was very wealthy, he was from London and a bit of a lad. Royce, was a brilliant engineer, from Manchester, about 30 miles from where I live. I think he actually started out making watches, then, some of the first cars. Rolls though hmmmmmm, this cunts good, gave him a load of money, to make super nice cars and started selling them to his friends in London. I still think they should be called Royces though🤷🏻‍♂️.
