The media is broken as it is. We’re already attuned to negative information through our innate negativity bias, and corporations profit off controversy, death, destruction, and degeneracy. Everything is a spectacle these days… everything.
It no longer serves to inform, it serves to profit, every headline competing for your attention. This doesn’t even begin to factor in the mental toll people are dealing with, depression… anxiety…
We need to foster a new outlook on media, not go back to the same ways here on #nostr .
