That's funny because everyone says people who are anonymous are cowards too.

The real question is whether you care more about the authenticity that comes with being anonymous, or the accountability that comes with not being anonymous. Avoiding either is cowardly in their own way, but obviously there isn't a third kind of account you can have, so who even cares?
