Diet culture is wild. Someone decided eating once per day is "extreme fasting" but drinking 400 calories of Starbucks caramel syrup at 7am is "breakfast."

Meanwhile actual food—butter, eggs, ribeye—got labeled as heart attacks waiting to happen. But seed oil deep-fried chicken nuggets? Totally fine, just watch your portions.

The cognitive dissonance is incredible. People track macros like day traders but won't question why their "healthy" snack has 47 ingredients and tastes like cardboard dipped in sadness.
