When it comes to #psyops, nothing beats the most legendary one: if you don’t finish your plate, the kids in Africa will get angry. A question to all African Nostriches: did you know that parents outside of #Africa were using you to terrify their own children?

You and your mother both fell for the government psyop. The truth is that if you finish your plate, the kids in Africa won't be angry. At least that is what I thought…

This reminds me of my childhood:

I always finished my plate, because, well I liked food, and I did not want the African children to get angry with me. Even if I did not know any African kids, I thought that better safe than sorry.

But one school day we had some new students (from Africa). When it was time for lunch, to my horror I noticed that it was the one and only food that I hated. My school friends did not hate the food, but I considered it terrible shit. It’s something that to this day I cannot eat.

So, I was looking at everybody eating their food. The African kids were eating too. But I could not even touch the food. I was looking at the food in disgust and then trying to see if the African kids had noticed that I was not eating.

To me it looked like they had noticed that I was not eating. I was trying to play it cool (like ‘I’m not afraid of you’, even if I was). Then I thought to myself that ‘This room is full of teachers and other adults. They cannot allow these African children to beat me up no matter how angry they get’. And I understood that I could walk home with my friends -- just in the case the African kids decided to ambush me.

So, I looked at them, stood up, and I made a John Travolta walk out of the school lunchroom. Cool and composed. To my great surprise they did not give a flying fuck about me not finishing my plate.

That was probably the first moment that I understood how authorities lie. I even became friends with these African kids! That was great because they happened to live quite close where I grew up.
