Hard to giggle when most people don’t realize the anonymous group of developers behind Citrea was funded by Palantir’s Peter Thiel… and you sir admitted that the changes to Op_Return are so niche that in fact it’s only known use case is by Citrea. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying that core changed bitcoin for Citrea because that would be damning… but it is a bit worrisome given Peter Thiel’s history doesn’t necessarily suggest he would be an ally of Bitcoin.
