Every time I hear an influencer say "gold leads, bitcoin follows" I wait for an explanation of the mechanism but it never comes. What's the rationale or have you just cherry picked a few coincidences?
Why would bitcoin not respond at the same time to money printing - it's the same people with the same info?
Only thing I can think is some kind of strange investment conspiracy to pump gold and then accelerate the gains with a follow up bitcoin play. This seems like a stretch.
(Or maybe it's central banks buying gold just before printing, but that also seems like a stretch and doesn't explain why bitcoin would be so slow to move if we're so clever and know this is happening)
