Yeah it feels obvious that heat works better when it’s radiant, instead of using air that is being pushed around

I think main issue is the type of homes that are being built, the stick frame with too much emphasis on airtight homes with manmade insulation that doesn’t breathe

Btw, when I say radiators, I meant water radiators, the hot water is heated in a boiler and then it’s piped into rooms that have metal radiators, so there should be no fire hazards

I don’t have a radiant floor heating but I don’t see any extra points of failures compared to conventional heating system

Having control of heating in each room feels so much better. You can probably close off the vents in other rooms and leave the ones that you want
