"Looking for good" is different than "how can I twist this seemingly bad thing into a good thing because others say it's supposed to be good".

I believe in an overall divine being that we can call God. I believe this being is what we all stem from, and is so full of love that it's difficult for us to comprehend. I believe God is omniscient, omnipotent, omnipresent and wants the best for us. I also see through Jahovah's BS. The being referred to as Jahovah is quite obviously not God. He's petty, has demands and needs that most humans don't require, and basically acts like an immature psycho.

I saw through this charade as a child, but continued on, doing my best to see all the good that the belief systems around me offered. As I matured, and started seeing how people use control and manipulation, it became quite obvious that there are many people, some as children, that are far more divine than that asshole.

My suggestion is to just keep reading. You have a brain that God gave you, and you appear to be using it. God wants us to make use of our gifts to see the truth. Asking for a method to be involved in illusion probably makes God face-palm. There is divinity in The Bible, and it will jump out each time you encounter it.
