Being able to use it with a seedsigner is interesting enough, and using BIP-85 does segregate it from your bitcoin keys, so it's really not an awful idea. 12 words to back up your wealth and your identity is convenient if you really need to bring it all in your head.
It is, of course, a single point of failure though. So pros and cons. I think I've heard mention of Nostr multisig though, which could help address that the same way we address it with Bitcoin.
Key rotation though would be the real key breakthrough. Not sure how to do that though without changing how we use npubs as identifiers. Seems like it'd require a collision, and if we could cause a collision we'd have a much bigger problem.
