If socialists really thought their ideas would produce a superior outcome for everyone, they would form their own communities & cooperatives (which are perfectly legal in most of the developed world) and they would use their success to attract new participants.
But what they really want is to steal from & enslave people who want nothing to do with their ideas. And they are generally such horrible people, on an individual level, that they often attempt to ruin the lives of anyone who disagrees with them, which is pretty consistent with the desire to enslave others in the first place.
