US needs wholesale immigration reform because the current system is clearly broken. Illegal immigration has to be stopped. But the economy depends on immigration for growth.
That said, the masked agents roaming the streets and questioning anyone with brown skin for “their papers” is about the most un-American shit I have ever seen.
