It's worse. This is a kafka system running on kubernetes and there's no user interface except the CLI. Someone wrote some crappy kubectl bash scripts and I am only supposed to start the script and then make a ticket for each warning or error in the output.
They caught me using kubectl directly, and literally screamed at me. They were livid.
I was using Kibana's query language, too, and they were like, you are only allowed to use the script. Why do you never listen?
