100%. I’ve come around to the position that making things easier on our kids is only setting them up for failure. Trial and adversity is what makes for experienced people who more likely turn into wise people and even interesting people. Staying in the safe lane and having many or most things provided for without having to work for them doesn’t help anyone grow as a person.
