Software development for #meshtastic is extremely unpleasant. There isn't much ready-made code in Go, and what does exist is low quality. ChatGPT barely knows anything about Meshtastic. I can't stand TypeScript, and ultimately once you start talking about JS, you end up in the browser — and I have absolutely no desire to work with browsers.
Yes, there's Python. But I haven't written anything in it for years, and I'd prefer to keep it that way for just as long.
