An interim step to prevent being de-banked before you are ready to leave the old world behind, could be to open accounts with several banks in different jurisdictions or countries.
That way you're not cut of completely if or when one bank cuts you off - and it makes a personal attack on you (from "your" government or some other threat) easier to live with.
I've been de-banked. Twice. But it didn't really hurt me. Slightly irritating (like a fly or mosquito in the bedroom at night), but not serious at all.
Being prepared helps.
