Should not be surprised as they do not have the ability to understand nuance, stripping a language down to make it more efficient in ai understanding doesn't make their language contain more information.
Nothing to read between the lines of an ai script.
Similar to summarizing a painting down to stick figures. Its more efficient to convey little information they can abstract but good luck trying to understand what the artist was trying to say, why they painted it, what it says about the world when they painted it, or the best region to hang it.
