Yep! For me, these tools are fine as long as used proferly and responsibly. Like what you mentioned, for learning and improving.

I know of other people who also use these tools as an "editor", especially for those who don't have the means to hire a real editor. I think that's fine, they did work for it and simply used these tools to polish and detect errors.

Which in turn also helps us. A responsible user will definitely read the suggested output to check if it still is the same draft or turned into something else. And that gives a writer an idea where and how to improve. Slowly, they use it less and less, just as editors rarely check the work of seasoned writers.

But, yes, us being called AI or LLM, definitely depends on context. Hopefully more on the positive. 😆 Though I guess also depends on the delivery, which I find hard to interpret. 😅
